Overview #
Nantu provides flexible options for tracking and analyzing your A/B test results through your preferred analytics platform. This guide provides an overview of how to set up and access your test reporting. We’ll be expanding this section with detailed templates and additional guidance in future updates.
Analytics Integration #
Nantu is designed to work seamlessly with various analytics platforms through custom dimensions. While Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is the most common integration, Nantu can be configured to work with other platforms including Adobe Analytics, Matomo, or any analytics system that supports custom dimensions.
Setting Up GA4 Tracking #
To begin tracking your test results in GA4:
- Navigate to your GA4 property settings
- Access “Custom Definitions” in the property settings
- Create a new custom dimension
- Ensure the dimension name matches exactly what you’ve configured in Google Tag Manager
Reporting Options #
GA4 Explorations #
The quickest way to analyze your test results is through GA4’s Exploration reports. This method is relatively easy but has a number of disadvantages.
Advantages:
- Easy to set up and use
- Familiar GA4 interface
- Flexible visualization options
Issues:
- Data sampling may occur with large volumes
- Data thresholding applies to protect user privacy
- 24-hour data delay
BigQuery Integration #
For organizations requiring real-time, unsampled data, connecting GA4 to BigQuery provides the most powerful reporting solution.
Advantages:
- Real-time data access
- No sampling or thresholding
- Complete data control
- Custom analysis capabilities
Considerations:
- More complex setup process
- Requires BigQuery expertise
- Additional infrastructure management
